We've finished the debut music video for our friends, the Generationals, and their song "Angry Charlie." Check it out here or also posted on the label's youtube site.
Much credit and thanks goes to the contributions from Patrick Armitage (AD) and Eric Ramistella (online editor), but also especially to Mandy and Tim Hutchings, who did all the animations and After Effects work.
And go buy Con Law. It's amazing.

Untucked news to note...
1) Chuck's quietly been busy developing some branded campaign work for both Office Depot and Sony Ericsson, which can now be viewed on our Commercials page.
2) As mentioned prior, The Funeral is screening this Sunday in the Hoboken Film Festival at the Cedar Lane Cinemas. If Irish pubs aren't your scene, perhaps a dark theatre is.
3) For our diehard fans, we've replaced the Atom version of How To Get Gonorrhea with the original version as seen at our 2008 screening.
4) We've posted a little silent short that Lewis made for his friend, Ritchie. Shot on super 8 in Portland, Oregon, it's not the usual Untucked project but rather a memento of sorts. It's called The Poison Tree.
5) And lastly, check back soon(ish) for a new comedy short from Jonathan and a music video directed by Lewis for our friends, the Generationals.

A quick reminder that The Funeral is making its NYC debut and The Wildflower is showing again this upcoming Monday night at Galapagos in Dumbo, Brooklyn. Weekends are for amateurs. Come out on a Monday. Screening begins at 7pm.
And we are pleased to say that one month after the Dumbo screening, The Funeral will be showing two rivers over in the Hoboken Film Festival at the Cedar Lane Cinemas on Sunday, May 31.

We're back from Aspen, and three Funeral screenings, numerous Q&A's, and a few too many sidecars later, we gotta admit: we had a damn good time.
Untucked easily won the festival award for largest entourage, as we hauled 14 folks out west for the week of films and skiing.
Below is a picture of J. Emmerling, J. Harford and some of the other festival filmmakers at a local high school, taken before they gave lectures on the unfortunate side effects of filmmaking. Following the lecture, the teacher asked the kids for their homework, and Emmerling blanched. Harford was then stuffed into a locker by Brandon Battersby, age 17.
Check out IndieWire's recap of the festival. And thanks to the festival folks for hosting such a fun festival and showing such quality films. If you ever get a chance to see something at the Wheeler Opera House in Aspen, you should - it's beautiful.

More film festival news...
Aspen has released their schedule, and The Funeral is 1 of 56 chosen and is one of the few with multiple screenings over the course of the festival. There's a bunch of us making the trip, and we can't wait to see Jansen Weatherly showcase his skills on a black diamond.
Phoenix's schedule is also posted at their website, and The Funeral is showing twice over the weekend of April 3.
Laid Off By Lehman was recently accepted by the Palm Beach International Film Festival. So that'll be happening April 23-27.
And lastly, The Funeral got into a festival you can just take a subway to! And even better, they also accepted The Wildflower, which will be shown the same night - May 4. This is for the Brooklyn Arts Council, and the screening is at an art space in Dumbo called Galapagos that seats 175 and has a 1600-foot indoor lake... so bring your swim trunks.

We're pleased to announce that Laid Off By Lehman won the Audience Award last Friday at the NYC Iron Mule Comedy Festival, and we have the (conservative) clap-o-meter reading to prove it.

Laid Off By Lehman has another public screening coming up, this time at the NYC Downtown Short Film Festival Audience Screening on March 21st. Click here for tickets and come exercise your $10 right-to-vote.

The Funeral is now premiering at this year's Aspen ShortsFest. We're pretty pysched for audiences in both Aspen and Phoenix (as previously announced) to screen our most ambitious film to-date, not to mention the chance for some winter skiing in the Rockies. See the blurb below detailing the highlights of the Aspen ShortsFest, and come west with us. We're told that The Funeral will be shown the aftenoon of Saturday, April 4th. We'll post more informtation as it's released.
Widely recognized as one of the world’s premiere showcases for short film and video, Aspen Shortsfest offers an intimate international forum for emerging artists, established film professionals, and film-loving audiences. Aspen Shortsfest is one of only a few festivals worldwide recognized by the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts & Sciences able to send its top prize winners to compete for the Oscars. With the proliferation of film and video content websites, the short film has enjoyed a renaissance fueled by easy access and the desire for new, unencumbered, on-demand entertainment. Aspen Film celebrates and honors this concise popular film art form in a spotlight all its own.

The Funeral, the sixteen minute dramedy we shot last summer, will make its debut at the 2009 Phoenix Film Festival. Congratulations to everyone involved, which was pretty much everyone we know. It's not available to watch here, but we can arrange for a private screening if you ask nicely.

Laid Off By Lehman was selected by the NYC Iron Mule Comedy Festival, which is screening Friday, March 6th at the 92Y Tribeca. Yep, right in the backyard of those broker folks.

Here's the brand new video for the Señors of Marseille for their song "Coolest Girl in New York." The video stars Merritt Gurley, Rahmel Long, Sui Keung Wong, Claudia Apicella and of course the band. Also, many thanks to our resident DP, Patrick Armitage, and the various Columbia Street establishments for their continued tolerance of Untucked Films.
